a little poem a customer gave to me.....

I work behind a counter,
In a spare parts store,
Sometimes I'm called a genius
Sometimes I'm called more.

I claim I'm no mechanic,
Yet when the job gets sick,
The mechanic comes and asks me,
What makes the dam thing tick!

I'm supposed to know the numbers,
Of bolts and nuts and gears,
For every model made,
For more than forty years,

As an engineer and machinist,
And handyman, my lord,
I'm supposed to be an Edison,
Combined with Henry Ford.

But life would be a pleasure,
And I'd grin from ear to ear,
If customers would only tell me the
MODEL, MAKE, AND YEAR!!!

Hahaha!!

Why would you go to all the trouble of rebuilding a car - with all the original mistakes!

Jeez make model and year what a dream that would be. The best one we have had was a lady (on the phone) that wanted a firm up front price to do the brakes on here car. She got very upset with my boss when he said he could not do that. The main reason bei

That sounds like one job you could have done without if you ask me.

Ive had the opposite. I rang up, told them it was a regulator (on the back of the alt) for a 1996 VS2 V6 commodore, and that I know there are 2 types, and its the one with the rounded off plug, not the injector type plug, so I explained this to the guy o
