If any of you have re-built a 253, what parts/ brand/ avaibility did you go with? And are any parts getting rare? I want 253 head gaskets but do they still around?

Yep you can still buy full felpro gasket sets and if its just a standard rebuild I just use ACL stuff.

I got my 253 back on the road only this week..between no time and little funds it took me 3 months. if you look at the $$$$ youd go buy a short 308 and save stuffing around. But to keep to original config...aarrghh.
All mine really needed was ONE Welch
