does anyone know the difference between a xu1 globe , and a after market one (if there is one) i have one but dont know whats its worth, if anything.

on the inside of one of the "spokes" / inside the rim, there will be a part number and a date casting number, for XU1 must be about 6/72 up to end of 73, normal casting code letter, space, one or 2 numbers, space, number
eg G 12 2, is 12th july 1972

all depends on date and condition
$100 to $500 maybe
july 72 most sort after I think as were first made for Bathurst that yr
set of 4 in excellent condition on ebay mid last yr were around $3ooo,
2 yrs ago you get set under $1000
