Just bought old XC Sedan, with the 250 X flow in it, handles liike ****, which I knew when I bought it, but wondering if anyone knows the best was to improve the handling on it?? apart from some good suspension, what else is there?? appreciate any help.. also, any suggestions for any other improvements would be awesome, has had nothing done to it yet, open for suggestion. the later XC's (known as the XC and a half!) had upgraded suspension to combat the onslaught of Holden's RTS. From memory it was basically 6" rims, radial tyres and a rear sway bar ... so grab a rear sway bar, new shocks and 6" rims. The XC and a half ca

Also known as the XC update, it had a ford oval badge in the middle of the grille. Wilza, put a set of decent wheels and rubber on the car. Good tyres and wheels can help compensate for a shoddy suspension to a certain degree. I'd go 245x15 on the bac

I would all ways replace the rear leaf springs, std they are rubbish. k mac or others it's in the geometry, it will really make the difference. sway bars. good shocks, and make sure all is true and tight.

how about u take it to a tyre centre and get a wheel alignment if u find a good wheel aligner ud be suprised how much better she will drive as long as ur frontend isnt just about to fall out
