Hi All,
Has anyone attempted to replace the tiny spring that sits under the handbrake on a HK. Mine has died & dis-appeared meaning i can't use the handbrake.
Can i source one from somewhere or do i have to get one from a wreck?

Hi there, I have repaired lots of HK handbrake handles, springs, ratchets, cables and pulleys. I have a few bits for them left and can send you the bits you need for it. If you are in Sydney as well I could fix your one for you. I have a lot of parts for |

Unfortunatly i live on the Gold Coast , are they a major to put in a new spring (i am pretty hands on)so i hopefully should be able to do myself. What would a spring be worth , it's obviously best to have the handbrake out of the car to

Unfortunatly i live on the Gold Coast , are they a major to put in a new spring (i am pretty hands on)so i hopefully should be able to do myself. What would a spring be worth , its obviously best to have the handbrake out of the car too

Now with the handbrake spring you will have to pull the whole unit out as you need to take the ratchet bar out to get the ratchet paul (for want of |
