hey guys. well iv finally built my engine thankfully and its in and running. my qn is whats the go with the "bed in period" what do i do for that and for how long? i dunt wana ruin this engine. it cost to much. cheers

Bedding in refers to the rings and is like running in the engine, ie dont over-rev, vary the RPMs on longer trips, are you using a thin oil to start with that will be changed relatively quickly?
Maybe you should ask your engine shop some more questions |

hi about 1000km for run in not to much on the same speed dont idle for to long just take it easy keep checking your oil thats about it

after the cam is run in i was always told to take it to the mountain range and give it curry i did it with my engine and it survived done it with diesel engines at work and they survived, i work as a deisel fitter(well im just a fitter at the moment) and |
