Ford calls the XK-L-M. 2 speed auto, a ford-o-matic. In the XP-R it's a 3 sp B/W 35, and called a B/W 35. XR 289 v8 is called cruesomatic. i am not sure its a C4.? In the XT the B/W 35 is called a ford-o-matic, 302 is cruesomatic=C4 The XW gets 221 6 cyl B/W 35. but option with the cruesomatic =C4. as with 302, the 351 gets a FMX but still called a cruesomatic. The XY the same. only with the 250 option C4. The XA-B the same. only with 2V 351 with C4. and 4V 351 gets the FMX. The XC 6 cyl get B/W 35, 302 get C4, 351 FMX. is this true?

The XC 302 all came out with the C4. The C6 is a all alloy with well defined ribs on top of the box, yes cast alloy as one unit has no bell housing bolts. only found in some F100 and USA fords. the 351 FMX has a cast iron body, with bolt on bell housing
