Hi,
This is my first post so I hope I am following the correct protocols as i don't want to annoy anyone.
Just rejoined the Holden brigade and got myself what I believe is a rolling shell of a HJ GTS but wanted some help decoding the VIN which is 8Q69RFH375336J. Other plate on car says Model number HJ 8WQ69 and Body 375336B and Paint 56815949. Would anyone out there know if that means it is a HJ GTS or not and what paint coloour it would have been? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Ta
Janine

It's a 253 HJ GTS sedan, originally in Absinth Yellow. The TRIM line will read 1886-???. 1886 is Holden for Absinth Yellow, and the trim colour is the ??? bit. If it was a 4spd the TRANS line on the BODY plate will read M20. Auto is M40.
