I'm in the process of installing my manifold and noticed that the kit contained restrictors for the inlet manifold. These sit in the heat cross over ports on each side of the manifold/head. They restrict about a 3rd of the port. What are they and should i install them? I have an early 010 350 block with fuelly heads.
thanks

I always cut a piece of tin and block them off completely. They are only to heat the intake when engine is cold to improve drivability. Once engine is warm(10mins) they just rob HP by heating the intake air.
