Now I Know i have asked about this before,,but i am a basketcase??
the two screws at the front of the carby are for airfuel mixture?
now how does one tune said device??

From memory the base setting was...screw both mixture screws in clockwise until they seat lightly.Then back them out approx 3 turns. Set your base idle @650-700rpm. With the vehicle idling in PARK,slowly turn 1 mixture screw in until the idle drops or th Edited by user Saturday, 15 March 2008 8:16:38 PM(UTC)

hi BCB,
Looks like last nites post failed to post. Was this carby a known worker before now ? Is it on a 308 or 253...it matters. Is it old or new model as the idle cicuit is different (in adjustment) ?
As mentioned good vacuum is essential. in case

hey trubleu,
it is a 308, choke is wired up, was for duel fuel, will be for straight gas.
in the mean time while i get f*****d around trying to get quote for gas install, i am running on petrol,
i did have it too rich i think, then i screwed them all |
