hi,

Does anyone have a manual for a 2002 4WD rodeo, particularly the rear axle, or have they pulled one apart before. I have to replace the axle seals, so would like to see, or hear what it looks like before I pull it apart. I have heard there are inner and outer seals?? does this mean its a grease packed bearing? seems strange as it is leaking diff oil out of the outer seal.

Any info appreciated.

thanks.

Its been sometime since i pulled one apart but i think it has inner and outer seal.Bearing is retained with a nut .If you check your service manual i think repacking rear bearings is part of a service therefore obviously grease packed .You have to remove
