how hard is it to rebuild a trimatic for a 308, either stock or a bit beefed up (maybe stroked in the future), for someone with average mechanical apptitude and a good set of handtools ? (done all my own repairs, reco's and tuneups for the last 35 years)

any good books to go by? (not ellery, please)

and where do i buy the bits and pieces to do it?

thanx in advance, johnny

HI dusty

can you please tell me what's in the kit, i.e. plates, seals and/or gaskets etc and is it for a stock or heavy duty rebuild (couldn't find it on your site)

thanx for your prompt reply

Correct Byron. M38212 is a rebuild kit for a manual 3 or 4-speed.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
