Could someone please help me determine if my mates car is a numbers matching genuine bathurst HK Monaro, or not, the car was re-registered in the mid 90's so a rego check only go'es back that far, it has all the "bathust " correct parts, tramp-rods, big tank, carb, diff ratio, steering box, tank etc, but how do you tell if tags, fire-wall, & engine numbers match?? the numbers etc do match the trim & paint etc, but tags have been re-rivoted @ some stage, we love the car for what it is, very tidy & all back to "original" but really want to know if is "matching numbers" any help would be much appreciated, numbers are:

R/H BODY TAG: 81837KR00226-H5 TRIM:1150-10X PAINT:587-1704
L/H TAG:81837KH543115
FIREWALL #: HK35609S (WITH 2ND "S" SLIGHTLY DIFF FONT UNDER 1ST S)
ENGINE NUMBER:32714383 T040H5

Cheers, James NZ

It's pretty close to right, and fits in well with all the numbers I have around it, so unless someone has fluked a body close to right all is OK. You could tell if the body is original anyway by the big tank breather hole, 6" wheel brackets, big tank cove

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.
