VH Commodores had a 5 speed manual gear box avaialble for the 1.9, 2.85 and 3.3 engines. Was this the introduction of the T5 gearbox or something else? How good is this gearbox? I am looking to run a 3.3 with moderate power, 120kW in a gravel rally car.

The 5 speed in the VH was only behind the 1.9 & 2.85 - the only 3.3 manual was the 4 speed, which was not available in NSW (emissions rules).
In the VK, the 5 speed was fitted behind the carby 3.3L - however it was upgraded by selective component shot |
