G'day, I am new at this so bare with me. Does anyone know what the following numbers are on a Monaro I am thinking about buying. The chassis is bhx35170s and the motor is QR874932. Does anyone know if this would be an original Munro.

You need more ID. Those are simply chassis and engine numbers, and could be anything from a 1-tonner to a Premier. _______________________________________________________ If we all had the same (good) taste, who would buy all the Fords? Edited by user Thursday, 3 April 2008 8:39:16 AM(UTC)

you need the number stamped next to MODEL on the id plate
the QR is a 253

That engine number would put the car around April 77. Chassis number wont tell you much apart from where it was made post up the rest of the numbers on the Vin and body plate
