Hey,
I'm changing the rear wheel bearings on the wife's 91 Barina & the hub nut didn't have a split pin (rather it had been hammered to mesh with a flat section on the spindle)& there wasn't a bearing seal, either. Does anyone know if this is normal or has some prick of a mechanic performed some dodgy work? The washer was also bent to buggery!

Apart from that, does anyone know of a torque setting for the nut?
