Just playing around with a Vk carby motor, i had it running, when, i went to restart and it shorts our near that white solenoid / resistor on the side of the carby. Can i bypass this?

Obviously its one of the 2 places where the pink wire plugs in? On the side of the carby, beside the rocker cover, its the idle stop solenoid. On the rear of the carb, facing the firewall, its the choke.
You can remove the wire from either one to tes |
