The option number (after the body number, which is the first line of numbers on the body plate) should read 'XV2'

If it is a HDT SS there should be a HDT Build plate on the front Radiator Apron (right hand side attached by 2 pop rivets diagonally, it will have the build No, month and year of production and the model ie: GRP/1,2 or 3 stamped on it

The motor should be the V5H version and the engine prefix will commence with VZ the SS came out in March 82 the SS/Brock came out in June 82
