hi, the new 308 has just spat the universals on the rear of my hq ute

so i pulled out the driveshaft and bought 2 new sets of universals from supercheap, prolly fit them on saturday

there's sweet f.a.grease in the new bearing cups. should i clean them out and pack them with more grease, and if so, moly grease or hi temp bearing grease

these ones are not fitted with grease nipples, so i'll only get the 1 chance to make them last, hence the questions

thanx in advance, johnny

yes sonny, it's an HQ ute

there is not much space to pack more grease in and you risk displacing the needles I would just fit the new ones. Ones with nipples are available but you have to search around.
