can anyone tell me the difference between the 11QU 350 statesman block and the QU 350 monaro block... also are the differences the same for 308 and 253 statesman v8's and gts v8's

hi Byron... why the difference..... if there is no mechanical difference why would holden even bother

to differentiate each block for its model. Also so they dont over or understock blocks for its models.
In cubes we trust.

Probably because they tried to market the Statesman as "not a Holden". There may be some other obscure reason though.

There was more than that:
HT manual; 2 x HG 350 manual; HT/HG auto; 2 x HQ; C20/K20 trucks; Holden Suburban. Plus whatever other low volume stuff was imported and sold new.
