Help!!!
I have a HZ V8 & I have a sealing problem on the top radiator hose on the radiator side. Where the radiator neck & the hose meet, there is a wire thermo fan sensor that slips in between the hose & neck. I can't get it to seal & leaks under pressure. What can I do???? HELP!!!

There's no thread, just rubber hose touching radiator neck, with the sensor wire inbetween.

There is a plug thing you get to repair tubeless tyres. Get one of these and cut it in half then sort of twist it around the sensor wire and then clamp the hose. I used this on my car and it worked perfectly.

When you buy a thermo sensor you get a rubber piece with a groove cut in it. The wire sits in the groove and the rubber piece sits between the radiator outlet and radiator hose the clamp of course goes over the hose and clamps them all together.

Never had a problem with leaking when I use the grooved rubber block along with high temp black Silastic under the rubber block AND on top. When using Silastic for any joint clean ALL surfaces with methylated spirits and clean with paper towel. Repeat met

Hi

I had the same problem, so I went out and brought a thermo sensor and screwed it into the block where there was a plug. Then I ran the wire from the mechanical setup to the new sensor and everything is working fine.
