Hi All, I recently fitted a HZ GTS dash to my WB ute and all gauges work, but the temp and oil gauges both go up about 3-5mm when the key is turned to ON. There is about 35 ohms between the oil sender and earth, and I haven't checked the resistance of the temp sender. I have the correct oil sender according to the parts manual. Also, the temp gauge on the standard dash didn't move up until the engine started warming up, so I doubt its the senders.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem? Both fuel and volt gauges are fine.
thanks Rhys

check your earths, GTS dash has about three for the various guage sets. I have seen dashes wired up with one common earth. Make sure your temp, oil,etc have there own earth.

And make sure there is a negative strap from the battery to the radiator support or body. Having one to the engine isnt good enough.
