Hi Ya Guys,

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a Australian Saginaw 4 Speed Box as fitted to the Monaro compaired with the USA model fitted in the states ??

I have been told there is some different castings somewhere on the gearbox.

Any ideas ????

An aussie one uses a 3 speed extension housing. The US box has the shifter bolted to it but aussie boxes have the shifter bolted to the crossmember.

So a true aussie box will have no provision to bolt a shifter on the LH ie passenger side, of the gearb
