I have a XM coupe im rebuilding, orig 170, but am putting a 200 super persuit in. I have the original 2 speed gear box, but have had a night mare trying to get it rebuilt - cost and finding parts. So have decided to put in a C4 with floor shifter. Im after info on the cluch set up i will need. Does any one know if I can canab linkages and pedal assembly of any other models that will come close to fitting? Dont mind doing some alterations, but do not want to make the entire set up from scratch!

Any ideas? or has any one done this mod?

Is a T5 cable operated? Which side is the clutch fork on? Old mate from earlyfalcons would be the man for this job!

If you use a T5 out of an XF then the bell housing should fit your 200. EA onwards bell housings have the starter motor on the wrong side and just won't fit.

XF T5's have a cable clutch with the fork on the passenger side so it's away from the h

A XM-P 200 motor or a XR 200 motor. maybe the B/W 35 auto will be best way to go. the last of XP 200 got a B/W 35.
