I went to see the new falcon FG. i think they are finally a better car than the VE commodore now. much better quality interior then the cheap and nasty flimsy commodore effort. the A pillar is far better then the commodores third rate affort. the steering wheel is the only thing in the falcon i don't like, it's got to much center stuff in the way of your hands. and holden still makes a better v8 though, then the fords big heavy v8 truck motor. but i think ford are bringing out a new v8 next year, some thing more modern like the commodore v8.

Fair call, Too new for my likings but I do have 1 question, more modern engine? Aren't the Ford engines all alloy Quad cam 4 valvesper cylinder and variable valve timing? Last time I paid attention to a Holden they weren't. Please correct me if I am wrong

302superbird. fords DOHC V8 is a iron block. it will be replaced with a alloy OHV. mainly because the DOHC is to big and heavy.
I think the holden V6 just can't cut it against the ford 4.0L in any way. the v6 may be argued that it's the more modern moto

Rudd would never let that happen. he is for the working man. rob.
He may import the people from India ect, to make them hear for us cheaper. then we will be OK? maybe we don't need to have tariffs to protect Aussie jobs now do we?
