If you were building a custom HK HT or HG or even a Hotrod with a K-T-G front end, which front end would you prefer and why ?
All i do know is the HK has bronze upper control arm bushes and the HT-G uses rubber control arm bushes. I've got a few front ends here and can rebuild/use either model but i just cannot decide if i should go bronze or rubber bushed. So yeah...your thoughts please ?

The HT/G is lower maintenance.

I've never noticed the lower mounting points being different for HK to HT/G (HK being lower). This is how Holden gave the phase 1 RTS LX Toranas (mid model change to RTS) more negative camber (by lowering the mounts). It's also how Holden modified the L34 |

go for the L300 for the rodand even monaro...LOL.. and for early holdens like FC-EH, graft a LH-LX-UC Torana one into it, its a relatively easy conversion, you instantly get discs, rack steering, V8 mounting points, recess in X member for V8 oil oan, and

OK, been reading the Monaro bible. Paraphrsing: "From July 1969 the upper control arm mounting points were moved upwards by 0.62" in an attempt to improve straight line tracking, with the trade-off being the tendency to understeer".
There you go. So v |
