So i was going through some of my old mans videos from an oran park family day in 1989 and found some footage of mum's HSV F20 (the turbo blue one) and dad's group a/3. He was the first owner of both of these cars.

Apologies for the graininess but its 20 year old footage filmed by a 9 year old boy in most parts. Dad was the first owner of the Blue HSV F20 turbo which he bought for mum. It was pretty much unmodified at this track day.

His VK group a/3 had a larry perkins 4 bolt mains group a block, t5, APE tuned heads, whole bunch of other stuff. Think it was 11 second quarter and about 320 kw of power atw.

I just thought i'd throw these videos on you tube as it seems rare to see old footage of these cars when they were pretty close to brand new. I know the footage ain't great but thats 20 years old with a 9 year old doing the filming.

A good mate of mine is the current owner of the Imperial Blue F20 Turbo.
He may or may not have spoken to you or your father about the car - I'm sure he'd love to though, as he's been researching them for years.

Can you send me an email wi

Thanks for the email Gruntah, I've passed it onto John.
I don't know the other A/3. There's a couple in the NSW club, and at least 1 or 2 I think, in Victoria in the BCOAA.

I noticed you've just signed up to BrockCommodores.com Have a look around on
Cheers,
