hi, silly question but...

what does adjusting the screw and locknut on the steering box adjust?

i put an hz box in my q and the steering is alot easier due to the 4 plus turns vs the 5 or so

but there is a (very) little slop in the steering and i'm assuming that the screw will take it out, but not sure. i have just renewed the 4 tie rod ends and the drag link

and do you have a quick and dirty way of adjustment? it just doesn't feel like 1 of those things you can nip up tight and slacken off a tad

with mine. i just undone the lock nut and tighten the grub screw then backed it off half a turn. then went for a drive. turn a corner and if it dosent go back to the centre by itself its still alittle tight. just loosen it off quater turn untill you can t
