For those thinking of upgrading, it is amazing what you can get at the auctions for next to nothing, I just bought a CDM Celeron 950mhz 256k ram 20 gig hard drive, CD rom, onboard sound and ethernet (whatever that is) $170 with MS keyboard and mouse. Then got a 3 year old 15" Compaq monitor for $15.
Came with W98 licence and CD, so I can sell the licence/cd and get some of my money back. (I already have W98 don't need two).
Having a bit of a hassle getting the monitor resolution from 640x480 but will sort it out eventually. Doesn't want to respond to Display change only get choice of b&w or 16 colour, so something wrong in the drivers I think.
But will never run out of space again(was forever running out on the old computer, only 850mb)
