I may be just going over old ground, but has any body made any sense over the WA ADR rules on the actual rim size allowed on a HZ Panel van. The size I want is going to be 16 " but have been told you can only go 1 size up or down. 14" tyres are hard to get in any thing you want and I feel 15" will go the same as some manufactures have start to cut back on certain sizes.

Thats true but in a 245 or 235 these are already getting choosey as I know 1 brand that has stopped making them the same way the 14" went. I am after the look of the 16" more as that is what would suit this van.

i think the one size up and down refers to the width. i.e. STD 6" rim can be widened to a legal maximum of 7".
i dont know about the diameter of the rim and the laws regarding diameter, or if there are any?.

Thanks Adam that is what I am suspecting. The only rule I have seen that makes any sense is the outside diameter of the mounted tyre that allows you to go up only 20 odd mms. Because there is a lot of 20" rims running on some of the earlier Statemans tha

i would be looking at 17s,tyres are a plenty and as the suspension isnt as nice as a new commodore so you still have some sort of side wall. i found 17s cheaper than 16s.
