I bought a pristine original HQ holden off my grandmother's estate. It's the standard one and is gold in colour. It could do with a new paint job but that's about it. It's otherwise pretty perfect. It's had done 39000km when I bought it and is now up to 45000km. Can anyone tell me what is it worth and what should I do with it. I was thinking of giving it to my nephews but that will be the end of this beautiful old car.

Thanks, I won't be selling it to a wrecker. I'm in northern NSW. I'm really after a ball park value if anyone has an idea.

hi,

is it a 6 cylinder or V8?

is it a Premier or kingswood?

V8 Premier at a guess without seeing it would be between
$4000 - $6000 but this is only a guess.... less for 6 cylinder kinswood obviously

hth

You would be looking at about $1500 as a base price for an original HQ 6cyl Kingswood needing work up to about $6000-7000 for a extremely clean one. Post photos and we can give you a better idea on what its worth.

I've seen a few 6cyl kingswoods advertised for $8-15k but I haven't seen any sell for more than around the $7k mark. Theres an absolute mint HQ sedan on carsales for $9.5k and its been for sale for quite some time.

Cheers
