hey guys i have a 04 ba xr6 and i have been told i need a bigger alternator for my car can any one help.

Best thing is to either get your existing alternator rebuilt to put out more charge or see your local sparky for a new one. What are you running to require more juice?

the car runs a bigger battery 2 amplifers that run on 90amps and then if i turn on my aircon the revs start bouncing while i idle at the lights . if my lights r on aswell the car almost stalls ford reckon its the alternator , but i not so sure

Ah, yeah, it sounds like your alternator alright. Just make sure all your wiring is heavy duty enough to cope as well

just spoke to a auto sparky , he said it would make your car worse. he told me to tell ford it a idel problem at the lights and revs need to be lifted, ford looked at me like i was not even speaking english . wa ford dealers have no idea whats wrong with

Sounds like your ECU needs to be reset.
