Has the ass dropped out of the Monaro game, I see parts a plenty on the bay now going for good prices.
This sugests to me these cars are now outside the reach of the comon man. Not may cars can be left now worth restoring. Hence the reason for the parts price drop off.

I know there is a Monaro register and all, that accounts for some. I was wondering just how many are left.
I personally would not count the rusted POS you see on the BAY.
What I mean is cars that have been restored , still registered, or can be rebuilt with no structural rust.

I don’t think these cars are as rare as some people think or would have us believe.
I personally know of 5 in sheds, not for sale of course.

Any one want to post a guess.

Having been in the business of wheelin and dealing these cars since the early 80s, i believe the butt has fallen out of these cars, be it monaros and gt falcons. the muscle car trends has definitely stopped.

There were silly prices asked for Group A commodores - but just remember, the true selling price is no reflection of the asking price, and while they may have lost that top 5% of stupdity in the pricing, the bread & butter slaes of them has continued with

Yeah that’s what I thought. I suspected the cars I have seen and know about are the tip of the iceberg. Not that hard to find really.

I am glad the price drop is happening, I have loved Monaro’s since the late 80s when no one wanted them. Because of th
