Thanks heaps to everyone for all you help. Its set me on the right track. I have already got all the other stuff, full VN setup. I have to source some headers from pacemaker who make them especially for the VN to Vk conversion. cost about $450 which is good for a set of pacemakers. I called the 308 shop in dandenong, melbourne, they were really helpful. They told me that i have to change it. at first i was a bit annoyed, my fault cos i didnt do my research, but then i thought, hey, this could be fun. They are setting me up with a mild Crow cam and lifters for $330, only mild cos i cant afford to change the rest of the gear to accommodate to lumpiness, and its not worth going all out when you have a trispastic stuck on the back. Sure i can get ears welded on it for a Turbo pattern, but i dont think its worth the cost, which i have no idea how much. Plus i dont have a car to drive at the moment so i need it asap, damn public transport! anyway, its a story for street machine...the one month build up that takes 6 months, all good fun though.

thanks for the help to everyone, i hope the finished product is worth it, ill keep you posted Matt

I'm glad that we, as a group, could help you out Matt. That's what we are all here for...to help others and to be helped when we run into things we don't know.

Cheers...Dave
