I am after some advice on what brand of parts to rebuild a blue 253.

I only want to keep it stock so I dont need racing or performance parts just good stuff that will be reliable like the factory stuff.

If you have had good or bad experiences with certain brands or ones to get or ones to keep away from would be great.

I am located in WA so if you have a prefered supplier here that would do a good deal let me know.

Cheers Tim

ACL pistons, rings, bearings - basically a rebuild kit (will have gaskets, welch plugs etc). Mild camshaft from Crane, Wade, Tighe etc. Make sure you buy a new oil pump with cast iron case and J&P timing set.

If we all had the same (good) taste, who would buy all the Fords?
