I just got a edelbrock 750 cfm, electric choke. Its going on a chev 383 with a edelbrock RPM Air gap mainifold. Now the edelbrock site dosent recommended the electric choke on the air gap mainifold but the 750 with manual choke is recommended. Why is this so? Has any one done this before?
Thanks

Cause the air gap manifold is a high performance item requiring bigger cam overlap and electric chokes dont suit this application very well at all.

Try and get you money back for the Edelbrock Carb as soon as you can.. Edelbrock make VERY good manifolds, but the carby business belongs to Holley..!!!
