when fitting new hydraulic lifters does one leave them lubricate them selves on start up or does one oil them before fitting ? oao cheers

Dunk them in oil before insertion, and like any time you perform that level of work, crank the motor over to get oil through all galleries, lifers etc and get good pressure BEFORE you fire up. Theres no need to strip them and put oil in them before they g
