G'day All
Got a mate who has just inherited an EL 1998 falcon and the car has a few problems that need fixing, one of which is the boot lifts are stuffed, how do i get these out to repair/ replace them?

If it's anything like an EB then the gas struts have clips over the ends which have to be pulled off with pliers. Be careful though as I cut my finger quite badly a couple of months back when one of the clips did release under a lot of strain.
