HI, terry just bought the latest snap on scan tool, just wanted to know if you charge when some one has a light on and wants a quote? like you said takes time and exspensive equipment, whats to stop them going and fixing it them self once you tell them which sensor is crook? pete.

Youve opened a can of worms with that one, there is no one line answer.
When I use a scan tool. I dont just plug it in. I spend a while quizzing the customer on the cars history. Ask what the symptoms are, does it start OK, does it drive |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Hi, dr t been in the trade 16 years, so i know scan tools dont give you the answer just lead you in the right direction, eg sensor wiring computer etc. just thought of offering the tool for (hire) to guys that have a bit of knowledge so they can have a g
