Guys

Anyone know of a website or websites detailing the series production races of 1969 and 1970 and the final placings? Ive had a link on my web page for years now and been meaning to get to this one day. The recent discussions re HK vs HT has prompted me to do some more. So far I have:

Sandown 1968 - HK (1st and 2nd)
Bathurst 1968 - HK (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
Bathurst 1969 - HT (1st and 3rd)
Surfers Paradise 12 hour 1970 - HT

Fred Gibson won the Toby Lee series at Oran Park, but it was a series so I'm not sure if a HT won any of the constituent races. Allan Moffat looks to have won the 2UW trophy at Warwick Farm.

Any other suggestions?

Hi Byron.

Nick Petrilli (spelling ??) in an HT, won several races against Fred Gibson in the Toby Lee series.

Also, why are you just looking at Series Production racing here. Norm Beechey, in Improved Touring (ATCC) was much more successful in his H
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks Terry. Looking at series production as it is representative of the road car, whereas Beechey's HT could have been anything it was so modified. Plus Beechey's cars racing history is well documented.

Also just found another few possibles:
