Do you own a lathe and would like to earn some $$$. I require a set of hub centric rings to be made so that I can properly fit my set of Cragars to the HQ. What are they you ask??? Well these rings sit inside the rim and make up the difference between the rim and the hub so that when you fit the wheel, it will be centered on the hub. The rims I have are 91.00mm inside and the HQ stub/axle is only 71.00mm and as these are multi fit rims, it is almost impossible to center these on the hub without rings. These rings are usually made from a hard plastic or aluminium but I guess steel would be ok too as the rims are steel anyway. So if you have a lathe and are handy with the tools the dimensions are:-
OD= 91.00mm
ID= 71.00mm
Thickness= 11.00mm
There is no chamfer reqd.
Anyway let me know if you can help as Im having trouble trying to source them to suit and the rim supplier is unable to help at this stage.
Cheers Trev...

They could also be moulded from urethane then finish machine to size, its a tough material and very impact resistant. A place I used to work made sand casting patterns from it.
