G'day guys, I have posted this question before but not much success, so here it is again. Trying to find the type and model celica box i have fitted to my red 186. i have found 2 ratio's and 1 number stamped on it and need help to identify. front casing ratio # is 6-1 , Rear casing ratio # is 7-1. there is a number stamped on the centre casing join which is #50303021. The g/box is alloy not steel and splits in the centre vertically. hope this helps.. The next question is how to find what is the best diff for all round driving in an Ht ute with a red 186 and 5-speed box??? At the moment is makes a whining noise at high speed, was thinkng a 3:36?? but unsure. thanks heaps guys...jimbob
