gday people. i just brought a VS ute with Canopy & roof racks V6 auto. i took it for a drive the other day and only got 400 ks to a tank on the feeway, just wondering if this is normal coz its absolutely ****house compared to the missus VS wagon which gets about 550-600 on the freeway

hey mate my guess would be that it might need a tune or the diff ratio could be different to your misses vs hope this helps.

get it serviced and remove the roof racks they create drag , diff ratio may play a roll also

All VS run a 3.08:1 ratio except certain HSV models.
Consumption can be from a number of things - dirty air filters cause an amazingly rich mixture that you wouldn't credit them for.
I'd be giving it all a once over - new filters, oil & plugs. Give t |
