Hey can anyone tell me how much better an engine built by a builder would be compared to crate motors, ive heard that crate motors arnt the best etc.

i was only after a 290hp chev which is 2800$$$ crate
compared to a 330hp approx built by a builder 6500$$$

i realise that hand work is obviously better than motors off an assembly line , but big price difference .

what do you guys think ???

cheers
