Chasing a 308 inlet manifold for a rebuild job, does anyone have one? and does anyone know the casting number on them for ID? Going to try and rebuild to stock but unsure of the rochy 4 barrels reliablity, anyone got any comments or advice of an alternative? Are there any good Rochys about? Thanks Cannon

All Rochesters age good if rebuilt and tuned correctly. Which type of heads do you have (this will determine which manifold you can use) - red, red pollution, blue/black or VN onwards?

Just use an early (HT-HJ) manifold (easy to pick - have no exhaust crossover) with a blue motor carby. Early carbies are OK for original resto but blue is better as primary metering rods can be adjusted with the carb on the engine and they have the choke |
