The story: I had a big old Chev truck I was tinkering with then the wife decided to put the house on the market, so I swaped the truck for a HJ45 Landcruiser. Nice old cruiser, ran well, was regoed, ran into a problem- no enough seats (4 kids). So it went on ebay to be sold or swap for a commodore and guess what, got offered FORDS. Not having enough money to be fussy I swap for the above ED XR6, I was told by the previous owners that the head had been done up on it but I think what they should have said is it needs valve stem oils seals. Appart from that its no a bad ED XR6, it comes with all the options, ABS, Air, Sports suspension, Cruise control ( switches on but cant seem to set the speed) 15" Alloys, XR6 Twin head light, tail on the boot, Tickford motor, sports front seat (wear on D/S seat) as I said the usual XR6 options. Car was sold in Nowra not long ago from a car yard, carpet is in good condition, rear seat in good condition, dash is fine, console is fine with small holes from a mobile phone, Gear box shifts as it should, LSD is ok with no slap on take off, Motor has plenty of go still in it appart from the valve guides letting out a chuff of blue smoke on start up (especialy on the first start of the morning), new disk rotors (ABS) and front shoes just fitted. Plenty of Rego, rego is till 23rd of March 2009, tires ok, rims ok, no rust, tinted windows tint is fair but not peeling, no cracks in front window, straight for its age only noticabl dent is a pressure dent on the bonnet. The reason for sale is I have one daughter that needs to go to Sydney for state athletics, then her and her sister need to go to Sydney to play for state chanpionship in rugby union. These two events are going to cost me over a thousand dollars which I just dont have on a pension. Car is located on the far south coast NSW if intrested email me through fast lane members section or ask a question as I am suscribed to it. Price?? make me an offer but please be fair. Cheers Barry.
