Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help me. I have a series 1 AU XR8, i've heard they all have LSD however whenever i plant it it only seems to spin one side or the other. I haven't actually stalled it up and done a burnout or anything, i'm just wondering what this could mean. The car drives perfect, the diff makes no noises what so ever. Is this normal or is something wrong? Thanks,
Brian

Hi,
thanks for that reply, it spins the opposite way, i thought that LSD was standard on all AU XR8's. Does anyone know if this is true?

Another quick question. If the diff is LSD but has worn, will one wheel still spin the same as the other when jacked up? or will it spin the opposite way as if it were an open wheeler?
Thanks, Brian

It will still spin the same way. Ford may have put the wrong diff in. They have been known to do such things in the past
