Can anyone help me with an enquiry on houdstooth trim in a Falcon. A friend has green and black cotton cloth (not the ususal nylon Holden used) in his HG. He was told that it was from a Falcon. Can anyone confirm that might be true. I know the XC stuff is much smaller than the Holden stuff. The size is about the same size as Holden houndstooth.
Also the guy is looking for some green and black or white and black cloth houndstooth to repair it. (got to love the late 60s and early 70s for some of the trim and colours)
Thanks
Warren

The green and black houndstooth sounds like the stuff used in the McLeod Ford Horn cars. They were a dealer fit used mainly in the XBs such as the Goss Specials or any other XB McLeod decided to "horn". http://www.aus-ford-uk.co.uk/html/spoilers_-_

Thanks for that. Yes I remember the Mcleod ford horn cars, a fellow turned up at my place with one recently, he was surprised that I knew what it was, being known a Holden person and all.
Thanks again
