I've got a red motor 355 stroker in my VH commodore. It's only about a year old. It's had a bit of work done to it, but i'd like to spend a bit more on getting it to really go, maybe high 12's. I was wanting to know if vn heads are all they're cracked up to be, and if they'd make much difference to just keeping the old red 308 heads and doing more work on them. I already have a new cam and extractors etc and dunno if its worth the expense of replacing all these things if the efi heads don't make a substantial difference. What do you think??

From what I understand the bog standard VL (Walkinshaw) - VSIII heads flow better than any other pre Walkinshaw head, and hence develop more horsepower and torque.
