Hi people, new here.

I thought Id ask if anyone knows how to replace the plastic sleeve on Door strikers on a VN Commodore?
I'm talking about the bit the locking mechanism in the door locks onto. There's a plate that bolts to the door Jamb and a square-e off "U" welded to it.

There are apparently 2 main types and a few superseded part numbers . . .

Does anyone know where to buy new/remanufactured/aftermarket ones (with the black plastic sleeve)?

Can they be drilled out and reassembled?

Does anyone have good ones for sale, or successfully repaired them?

Any help appreciated . . . RS don't seem to have them.

Thanks for reading!
